The EIA raised its Henry Hub spot price forecast to $4.27 per MMBtu for 2025 and $4.60 for 2026 in its April outlook. The prior March forecast was $4.19 and $4.47.
The agency expects the Q2 2025 average to be $3.93 per MMBtu.
A higher official price outlook signals firmer US gas costs ahead, relevant to energy and fertilizer input costs for feed producers.
