Teucrium's initial reaction to the May WASDE says 2025-26 corn stocks of 1.8 billion bushels are 242 million below expectations but up 27% year over year. The firm expects grain prices to remain under pressure absent a weather rally, and sees wheat as weak.
The surprise corn carryout is supportive for feed costs, but the firm's view that robust demand and a year-over-year stock build cap prices limits the upside.
