On June 30, 2025 the dollar sank near its lowest level in almost four years against the euro as optimism over US trade deals increased bets on earlier Fed rate cuts. The dollar also weakened against sterling and the Swiss franc.
Markets priced at least one quarter-point cut by September at about 92%.
Stronger odds of Fed easing weaken the dollar, which supports US grain and oilseed prices in global markets. Trade-deal progress with China could also support US export demand for feed ingredients.
