Ceva's August poultry outlook reports US corn prices fell about 7% to $156/t after USDA projected a record output of 425 Mt. Brazil corn rose on farmer withholding and ethanol demand, while European corn eased slightly and Chinese corn was flat.
Soymeal prices surged in the US and, less so, in Brazil and the EU.
A record US corn crop pressures feed grain prices, lowering feed costs for buyers, while firmer Brazilian corn and soymeal add upside in South America.
