Thailand's rice exports for January to August 2025 fell 23.98% in volume to 5.04 million tonnes and 30.58% in value to US$2.98 billion. The Department of Foreign Trade cited a global surplus, weaker import demand from Indonesia and the Philippines, and a stronger baht.
