Datagro projects Brazil's corn ethanol capacity, including plants under construction and planned, will reach 24.7 billion liters by 2034, roughly matching sugarcane ethanol output. Corn ethanol is also much cheaper to produce than cane ethanol at current corn and DDG prices.
