USDA's quarterly stocks report on Sept. 30 raised corn stocks to 1.532 billion bushels, 207 million above the September WASDE projection.
Analyst Jerry Gulke said the increase lifts new-crop carryout to roughly 2.3 to 2.5 billion bushels and questions the reliability of USDA's data-driven reports.
