Texas A&M AgriLife reports that corn and sorghum are doing well where spring rain has fallen in Central Texas but are suffering in drought-stricken South and High Plains areas. Extension experts say there are no major pest or disease problems and a favorable forecast could improve conditions.
Localized drought in the High Plains is a minor supply risk, while improving moisture in other areas limits upside for feed grain prices.
