New-crop November soybean futures closed above $12 per bushel after the May WASDE raised demand estimates. The report showed higher crush and rising soybean oil use, and old-crop July futures also climbed to a two-month high.
Higher domestic crush and vegetable oil demand tighten the balance sheet and lift soybean and meal values. Energy market strength also supports the complex.
