European corn hit a two-year high as weather concerns and higher farm input costs tied to the Strait of Hormuz closure threaten supply outside the US. Paris corn rose as much as 1.2% to its highest since June 2024, while Chicago corn reached its highest intraday level since April 2025 before edging lower.
Tighter non-US corn supply and higher input costs support global corn prices and may lift demand for US exports.
