The US dollar has traded in a narrow range since mid-2025 but may break higher as the Federal Reserve shifts focus to inflation. The dollar index is up nearly 1.5% since February 27 and trades near 99.13, below the 101 top of its range.
A stronger dollar makes dollar-priced commodities more expensive for foreign buyers and tends to pressure grain and oilseed export prices, while cheaper imports can ease feed input costs for US buyers.
