OPEC+ countries including Saudi Arabia and Russia agreed to raise production by 188,000 barrels per day after a virtual meeting. The commitment covers seven countries, including Algeria, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait and Oman.
The announced increase is small relative to disrupted Gulf volumes, so its direct price effect on feed-linked energy costs is modest.
