A USDA FAS report estimates India's 2025-26 grain production at a record 376.6 million tonnes, with corn up 27% to a record 55.09 million tonnes. India is projected to export 2.4 million tonnes of corn this marketing year and wheat exports are forecast to rise to 2 million tonnes in 2026-27.
Higher Indian corn exports add supply to Asian markets and pressure corn prices, while wheat export growth could weigh on global wheat values.
