Pakistan's palm oil import bill reached a record $3.785 billion in FY26, with volumes rising to 3.482 million tonnes. The average import price rose to $1,078 per tonne from $1,056 a year earlier, and FY27 sales tax changes are expected to raise retail ghee and cooking oil prices.
