Russian and Ukrainian attacks on Black Sea shipping and ports pushed CBOT wheat to a two-year high of $7.11-1/4. Soybeans reached a two-year peak and corn hit its highest in over a year, alongside a rally in crude oil.
Ukraine's president said Russia would step up attacks on vessels in the Black Sea.
The Black Sea supplies nearly one-third of global wheat exports, so export disruption tightens world wheat supply and lifts feed-grain costs. Continued threats to shipping keep upside risk in grains and feed ingredients.
