CBOT soybean futures reached life-of-contract highs on August 28. China bought 182,000 MT of new-crop US soybeans, and Sinograin cleared storage in its fifth auction in under a month.
USDA also confirmed 100,000 MT of soymeal sales each to Germany and the Netherlands.
Chinese buying and European meal demand tighten export supplies, supporting soybean and soymeal prices into the new crop year.
