On 13 July 2026 the European Commission published further EUDR simplifications, removing soybean seeds for sowing and some leather and rubber products from scope. It also added instant coffee, frozen cattle tongues and certain palm oil-containing products.
Removing some soy and cattle products from scope eases compliance for a small share of trade, while adding palm oil derivatives slightly raises compliance burden on those goods.
