Indian rice export prices reached a one-year high as tighter domestic supplies and below-normal rainfall cut expectations for summer-sown crops. Indian 5% broken parboiled rice was quoted at $371-$377 a ton, while Vietnamese 5% broken rice was offered at $440-$445.
Lower crop estimates from the rainfall deficit support rice prices and can lift the cost of rice-based feed ingredients.
