Pro Farmer reported USDA's Sept. 30 Grain Stocks figures: corn at 2.095 billion bushels versus 1.918 billion expected, soybeans at 315.1 million versus 324 million expected, and wheat at 1.845 billion.
Midday, corn was 16 to 18 cents lower, while soybeans were 3 to 5 cents higher and winter wheat 9 to 13 cents lower.
Corn stocks well above expectations weigh on corn prices and feed costs, while smaller soybean stocks offer partial support for soybean complex prices.
