An exporter guide states the EUDR applies to large and medium companies from 30 December 2026, with later dates for smaller firms and newly added products. The Commission's April 2026 review, published 4 May 2026, did not propose further amendments, leaving the timetable in place.
Confirmation that the timetable will not slip removes uncertainty for Brazilian soy and other exporters, so buyers may need to secure compliant supply sooner, which can support premiums.
