Singapore added Greece, Lithuania and Latvia as approved sources of meat and egg products, joining 15 existing EU exporters. Singapore also recognised EU regionalisation for African swine fever, highly pathogenic avian influenza and foot-and-mouth disease, so only affected regions face restrictions.
Regionalisation keeps unaffected EU exports flowing during outbreaks, which limits disruption to EU meat and egg trade and eases pressure on alternative suppliers.
