Indonesia set the CPO reference price for 1-15 June 2023 at US$811.68/ton, down 9.13% from the prior period. The export levy was set at US$85/MT and the out fee at US$33/MT for the period.
A lower reference price reduces the levy and fee burden on palm oil exports, which can modestly support export flows and weigh on palm oil prices. The effect is routine and limited in size.
