Indonesia's April 2024 CPO reference price rose to US$857.62/MT, up 7.3% from March. The export duty was set at US$52/MT and the export levy at US$90/MT, based on average prices from late February to late March.
A higher reference price raises the cost of Indonesian palm oil exports, which can support international palm prices. The duty and levy structure affects how much export margin exporters retain.
