The Indonesian government will raise the CPO export levy from 7.5% to 10% to support biodiesel subsidies under B40, starting January 1, 2025. The levy takes effect after the finance minister issues the regulation.
Processed palm oil product rates have not yet been detailed.
The levy increase tightens export availability and supports international palm oil prices, while subsidy needs for the larger biodiesel blend add to domestic demand.
