Indonesia expects its B40 biodiesel program to reach full implementation soon after delays early in 2025. Distribution of palm oil-based biodiesel has reached about 1.2 million kilolitres this year, and the government says there will be no extension of the transition period.
Full B40 implementation locks in a larger share of palm oil for domestic fuel use, reducing exportable supply and supporting prices.
