Indonesian palm oil production fell 7.01% to 4.165 million tonnes in May 2025, while total palm oil exports rose 49.75% to 2.664 million tonnes. Domestic consumption also declined in May.
Lower output supports prices, but a sharp export rise draws down stocks, so the net price effect is mixed.
