MPOB data showed Malaysian CPO output rose 2.35% month-on-month to 1.86 million tonnes in August, while palm oil exports slipped 0.29% to 1.32 million tonnes. Total palm oil inventories climbed 4.18% to 2.20 million tonnes.
Rising stockpiles and steady exports point to looser palm oil supply, a bearish factor for palm oil prices and the vegetable oil complex.
