Analysts at Commodity Classic said the pending EPA Renewable Volume Obligation decision, now at the White House, could shape soybean oil crush margins, renewable diesel run rates and spring acreage. They said timing of the decision matters as much as the final number.
Delayed or large reallocation of biofuel volumes would change soybean oil demand and crush margins, which could shift corn and soybean acreage decisions this spring.
