Clean Fuels Alliance America board member Greg Anderson said the EPA's Renewable Volume Obligations exceeded industry expectations, with obligated levels over 5.5 billion gallons for 2026 and 2027. Domestic clean fuel production already uses over a billion pounds of soybean oil monthly.
Industry expects the new obligations to drive further soybean oil demand from biodiesel and renewable diesel producers, supporting soyoil prices and crush margins.
