China's soybean imports from the United States rose to 3.63 million tonnes in November from 775,300 tonnes in October, according to customs data. Shipments recovered as Hurricane Ida disruptions cleared, though they remained about 40% below November 2020.
A rebound in Chinese purchases of US beans supports US soybean export demand and prices, but volumes are still well below last year's pace, which limits the upside.
