China's 2023 grain imports rose 12% to 162 million tonnes, while their value dipped slightly to US$82.3 billion. December corn receivals hit a monthly record of 4.95 Mt, and full-year corn imports rose 31.6% to 27.13 Mt, lured by Brazilian supply.
