The US Soybean Export Council expects China to import 30 million tons of US soybeans in the 2025 marketing year. China's total soybean imports are projected to rise from 104.1 million tons to 138.3 million tons by 2034.
Long-run Chinese import growth supports demand for global soybeans, but the projections are forward-looking and do not change near-term US price direction.
