The White House said China agreed to buy at least 12 million metric tons of US soybeans in the last two months of 2025 and at least 25 million tons a year in each of the next three years. China also agreed to resume purchases of US sorghum and hardwood logs.
A large multi-year purchase commitment would substantially expand US export demand for soybeans and sorghum, supporting prices if fulfilled.
