Ukraine and Russia signed mirror agreements in Istanbul allowing grain exports to resume by sea for an initial 120 days. A joint coordination centre in Istanbul will monitor shipments.
The deal followed two months of negotiation and was signed separately by each side.
Restored Black Sea grain shipments add major supply to world wheat and corn markets, which lowers prices and eases food-price pressure.
