Nibulon signed a deal with the operator of Ukraine's Chornomorsk port to export up to one million tonnes of grain in the July 2025 to June 2026 season. Its own Mykolaiv terminal has been blocked since 2022, and only three Odesa-region Black Sea ports are operating.
Ukraine's agriculture ministry expects the 2025 grain harvest to fall to around 51 million tonnes from 56.7 million.
Export capacity through the remaining Black Sea ports is constrained, which can slow Ukrainian shipments. A forecast harvest decline of about 10% also points to tighter supply and firmer wheat prices.
