Grain and oilseed shipments at Argentine ports are returning to normal after a strike was suspended. The strike mainly hit terminals north of Rosario on the Parana River, which handle more than 80% of Argentina's agricultural and agro-industrial exports.
More than 40 ships were delayed.
Resumed loading eases the backlog of delayed vessels and reduces the supply disruption for soymeal and soyoil buyers. Prices should soften as delayed cargoes ship out.
