Drought has damaged corn and soybean crops across Argentina, with farmers in Buenos Aires province reporting yellowing, shrunken plants. The dry weather has forced grain exchanges to cut harvest forecasts.
Argentina is a top exporter of soy meal, oil and corn, so a smaller crop reduces export supply and supports global prices.
