Brazilian farmers in Parana report up to 70% soybean yield loss from heat and more than 60 days without widespread rain. State agency Deral cut its Parana output estimate by 12%, and AgRural trimmed its national soybean forecast to 144.7 million tons.
Brazil is the largest soybean exporter, so a second straight La Nina-driven shortfall tightens global soybean and meal supply and supports prices.
