Heavy rainfall in Brazil, as monitored by Cepea, is delaying the corn harvest and the sowing of the next crop, mainly in the Center-West. Buyers are staying out of the national spot market, leaving liquidity low and prices relatively stable.
Delayed sowing raises concern about frost and drought later, but low trading activity is keeping spot prices steady for now.
