USDA's 22nd Crop Progress report shows corn in good to excellent condition fell another 2 percentage points as of August 25. Corn dough and dent stages were near or ahead of average, with 84% at dough and 46% at dent across 18 top states.
Declining crop condition signals reduced yield potential, which supports corn prices and feed costs for buyers.
