USDA's 2024 Crop Production Annual Summary showed most Oklahoma row crops down in production. The Winter Wheat Seedings report put Oklahoma winter wheat at 4.25 million acres, down about 2% year on year, Texas up about 6% to 5.8 million acres, and Kansas down about 3% to 7.4 million acres.
Lower Kansas and Oklahoma winter wheat area tightens HRW supplies modestly, supporting hard red wheat prices used in feed blends.
