Ukrainian soybean purchase prices fell by $10-15 per tonne to $410-440 as shipping delays at Black Sea ports and weaker export demand weighed on the market. Global soybean and meal prices also slipped after speculative gains ended, with rains in Argentina and faster Brazilian harvesting.
Ukraine has exported 1.6 million tonnes of soybeans since September, 58% more than last year.
Weaker Black Sea export demand and a record Brazilian harvest add pressure on soybean and meal prices, while Ukraine's remaining supply of about 1 million tonnes is harder to sell.
