Palm oil futures on Bursa Malaysia fell about 4% after Malaysia delayed a stimulus plan amid political turmoil. Coronavirus fears also cut Indonesia's palm oil exports to China, and Chinese gold premiums fell to their lowest since 2016.
Weaker Chinese demand for vegetable oil from Indonesia and the coronavirus outbreak adds pressure on palm oil prices, which also weigh on the soy oil complex.
