Vietnam's agriculture, forestry and fishery exports were estimated at US$6.1 billion in January-February 2018, up 30.2 percent year on year. Rice export volume reached 861,000 tonnes, up 17.2 percent.
Cashew and fruit and vegetable exports also grew strongly.
Strong rice export volumes show healthy Asian demand and firm export flows, which modestly supports world rice prices.
