The EIA benchmark weekly retail diesel price rose 8.4 cents to $3.837 per gallon, the third straight weekly increase and the highest since July 2024. US distillate inventories fell from 123.6 million to 111.5 million barrels through October, and ULSD futures rallied about 7% in early November before volatility set in.
Falling distillate stocks ahead of winter tighten diesel supply and raise trucking costs for feed deliveries, supporting diesel prices.
