The EIA weekly benchmark retail diesel price rose 3.1 cents to $3.868 per gallon, the fourth straight weekly gain and the highest since early July 2024. The diesel-gasoline spread has widened to 92.9 cents per gallon.
Rising benchmark diesel feeds through to fuel surcharges and hauling costs for feed transport, pressuring delivered feed prices.
