CBOT July corn fell to a contract low of $3.54 and July soybeans dipped below $9 for the first time since 2016. Favorable weather and rains boosted yield prospects, while trade tensions threatened export demand, and winter wheat harvest pressure pushed KC wheat to a one-month low.
Good crop weather lifts yield expectations and trade threats cut export demand, so both forces point to lower grain prices.
