USDA raised planted and harvested acreage for corn and soybeans, with corn harvested area up 1.3 million acres and national corn yield up half a bushel to 186.5 bushels per acre. Corn production was estimated near 17 billion bushels, and 2025/26 ending stocks rose nearly 200 million bushels to above 2 billion bushels, with the season-average price raised 10 cents to $4.10.
Higher corn production and ending stocks outweigh stronger feed use, keeping downward pressure on corn prices and feed grain costs.
