The EIA reported the US average on-highway diesel price fell 1 cent to $3.724 per gallon for the week of November 22, 2021, the first weekly decline since September. Diesel remains $1.262 per gallon higher than a year earlier, and gasoline was essentially flat at $3.395.
Diesel remains very high year over year, keeping trucking and feed delivery costs elevated, and a single-cent dip does not change the upward cost pressure on feed logistics.
