The pound and euro rallied after hawkish comments from Bank of England Governor Carney and ECB President Draghi. Draghi suggested he may be open to removing some of the ECB's stimulus, including negative rates and €60 billion of monthly asset purchases.
The euro climbed to a near 10-month high after those remarks.
Hawkish signals from major central banks weaken the dollar and tend to firm dollar-priced commodities. Feed buyers in importing regions may see a small easing of currency-driven costs.
